Thomas Kinkade opens tour company
First "Tour of Light" planned for New York
MORGAN HILL, Calif. -- Thomas Kinkade is more than a painter. He is a brand. Sale of
his bucolic oil paintings make up a good portion of his company's
revenue yet are only a part of the collectables sold through Thomas Kinkade Galleries and from the
company's Internet site.
From mugs to
miniatures, collectors can find almost anything to furnish a home. And
if that isn't enough for the faithful, they could have even
purchased a Thomas Kinkade
home.

Now the company is expanding into the travel market.
The inaugural Thomas Kinkade vacation tour, called "Tour of Light," will
be a three-week, all inclusive, motorcoach tour of the finger lakes area
of New York. There, plans are for overnight accommodations and
sightseeing stops in Penn Yan, Watkins Glen, and Cayuga with an
optional, two-day side trip Le Roy, the home of the famous Jell-O Museum.
In an exclusive interview with Travel Fox, Randal Cornerstone,
spokesperson for Thomas Kinkade Company and leader of this inaugural
event said, "We believe that our guests will find our excursions to be
more than inspirational. We also expect that they will find them
informational, educational, recreational, conversational,
intergenerational, denominational, motivational, transformational and of
course non-constipational."
